My mom is suffering from a severe attack of sciatica. She loves to garden and has garden hoses in all zones of her yard. Only one area in the back is on a timer.

I'd like to find a new hose for the front garden that is lightweight and easy for her to pull around and re-wrap. In spite of her back problem, she's otherwise a very strong woman thanks to the exercises she has done for many years.

I've read a little about coil hoses and there are very mixed reviews, mostly that they tend to kink up like a phone cord.

Aside from that, I suggested contacting an irrigation specialist who can put ALL of her gardening zones on sprinklers with timers.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
