Anyone used Rainbird above ground?

Is anyone using the rainbird above ground system? The risers are put on stakes and attach to 1/4 tubing, which attaches to 1/2 or 5/8 tubing. I found it in the Lee Valley Tool catalog. HD does carry some of it, but never in stock for what you need. Seems to be ok. I was wondering if anyone was using it for large gardens that I could converse with. Trying to figure out how to water from the back of the border to the front and get over 6' high phlox to lower perennials on the other side without bending the phlox or having 5' high stakes right in front of the garden. Has anyone use the drip hose at the same time as all the other emitters?
