Has anyone used the Precision Drip Spikes from Gardeners Supply? I am wondering if they work any better than the Aqua Cones from Gardeners Supply.

I'm an inconsistent waterer and thought these might be good for my community garden. I tried the idea of burying a plugged clay pot and filling it with water to leach into the soil, but it seems so slow that I'm not sure if the water is soaking out or just evaporating!

I have self watering window boxes and they are great!
