Proper way to wind a garden hose?

Anyone have an opinion on the proper way to wind up a garden hose for storage on one of those wall-mounted hangars?

In electrical work, they do an over-under wrap for cords which allows them to unwrap without kinking. Does this work for garden hoses, or do I just go over-over-over...?

I don't think it matters. It depends on the quality of your hose. Trial and error is good and let us know if there is a difference. JMHO Aloha
