Installed first drip system - have some questions

In the front yard I have various bushes and pots spread out in the landscape. I ran 1/2" line down the center. Then 1/4" line to single drip or spray emitters. - This all looks good.

In the back yard I just have the 1/2" line ran. The plants are packed together, can I run something aside from individual emitters? I have seen 1/4" hose emitter tubing?

Or is there something better?

If the plantings are that closely packed Netafims 1/2" line with built in emitters would work best. If your line is already pressure regulated 1/4" laser drilled line will work.
