if you have long runs, then yes it will help. if short runs, it will not really help much usually. my advice would be to cap the ends and see. if you have uneven flow then it won't cost that much to change it out.

I agree with D&K. If you come from both ends make sure you filter the water well. The capped end is usually used for flushing lines when needed. But yours are very short and probably is not needed. Aloha
