Me again. There is but possibly not for your intended use of irrigation. The black poly pipe which I believe you are referring to has two purposes. Provide the cheapest quality material for pressure loss and longevity properties. You can get more flexible hoses but they will not have those properties unless you buy more expensive industrial grade products. The second reason the poly pipe is less flexible, is that it is made to puncture irrigation fittings into the pipe. You would not be able to do this with the puncture tool if it was not stiff enough.
