Separate Pressure Tank for Irrigation System

Ran a sprinkler for the 1st time yesterday after sowing a new lawn. Left it running for a couple of hours and managed to drain all pressure from the well pressure tank (had to reset it to have a shower). I was wondering whether it was possible to have a separate pressure tank just for irrigation purposes (without having to drill a new well, and which would bypass the water softener etc), and which would enable higher pressure to be used and last a bit longer. Thanks in advance.

    I'll answer
    orli,
Are you sure your well didn't go low?
A couple of choices you may have:
If recovery on your well isn't an issue then you can install a larger pump.
Build a vault storage system with it's own pump.
Drill another well for irrigation only. Depends on your area and the rules.

    Good luck
