we just moved in new home and it has 2 manual lawn genie valves installed at 2 sides of home. i'm thinking of converting them to automatic valves. looking into products, i only see orbit has the converter.

is it i just need to install the converters into the manual ones and hook up to a timer and i would be done?

will the orbit converter work with lawn genie manual valve?

are there any better alternatives than this?
