if it does not come in direct contact with the slab, it does not have to be sleeved. as far as sleeve size, just move up to 2" PVC for the sleeve.

on teh other side you will have setup all teh valves again, but it may be easier than redoing the 6 lines.

If you decide to leave the pipes under the foundation I would definitely use a sleeve because if you ever get a break it can cause a wash out before you even found out their was a break. I would re-route or at least put in a sleeve.

reroute the lines!!! Any contractor worth his weight would not poor a slab over pressurized water lines of any kind. It's not so much a sprinkler problem as it is a structural one. If one of those lines ever leaks, even in a sleeve, you may never know it until your foundation settles into the washout it created, and now you have structural damage. Pay now or pay later!

then i guess we don't have very many good contractors here. 90% or more of homes here are on slab and as far as i know they all have indoor plumbing. i have never seen pipes run in the attic, and i have been in many of them due to i used to install alarms. all plumbing is run in sleeves under the slab.

What about hydronic heating lines lol

Pipes don’t go under the slab. Only drain pipes. The main line barely goes into say the garage, then goes up into the attic through pecs or copper if your an old house. No pressured lines under the slab. I’m currently building a custom home and this is how it’s done.
