Painting hoses

I've got a large yard full of drip irrigation (polyethylene hose) and garden hoses, snaked all over the place.

I'm trying to get this organized and wanted to paint some arrows or numbers etc on my equipment. (Such as numbering my circuits etc.)

Is there any type of paint that I can use that will adhere to my hoses?

Prickly,

I guess since there is no paint forum, I would use an oil-based paint or enamel paint. Clean the areas with TSP to remove any dirt, grease or oil from the spot you will paint. Sanding the areas before painting wouldn't hurt either. JMHO Aloha

I would recommend applying a label instead. I use a Brother label maker to create labels for plant markers and they work very well.

Thanks for your responses.

My son ended up finding a solution for me. He told me to buy duct tape in various colors. Colored duct tape, including neon colors, is available at Wal Mart, even Walgreens....so it's an easy fix....
