Wow, I need some help!

My water pressure is too high, well over 90 PSI. The pressure regulator I bought for my soaker system can't handle it, and only lowers the pressure to above 40. I need it down to 25 or below.

The man at Orbit said I needed to buy a special regulator to bring it down, and he named some brands, but the only one I remember is Toro. The only thing I can find there is about 80 bucks, has two gauges and is a lot more machine than I need.

Does anyone know of a pressure regulator that just screws onto the garden faucet that can handle higher PSIs? I called Lowes and all they have are things you have to install on main lines. That's beyond my skill set.

I need something that screws on. :(

And preferably cheap.

I've tried turning the faucet only a little bit, and it doesn't matter....the pressure is outrageous. I even called the water company and she yelled at me, saying normal water pressure is over 100 PSI and i should be grateful.
