I'm way over my head here but I have a bunch of plants scattered around my urban deck--of varying shapes and sizes.

They are exposed to some pretty blistering sun around now.

I want to go away for a week but don't want my leafy and flowery friends to cook up while I'm gone.'

I've been looking at drip hoses and sprinkler hoses and timers but I'm all confused. I don't need multi-zone stuff, just a recommendation for a good sprinkler hose and timer.
