I have a Hunter XC 8 station timer and can not get it to just run on interval days. My tree guy tells me that I need to water my orange grove for 24 hours once every 14 days. The timer is an overkill for such a simple task, but the home builder had already installed it. I have even called Hunter and asked for help on this matter without any luck. They told me to eliminate all watering days with the drip over the day removed, set the interval to 14 and then back to run. Nothing happened the next day. So, I set it to water on Sunday (every 14 days) and put it back to run. It came on just a minute after midnight Sunday morning and ran all day...cool huh? NOT!

When I woke up Monday morning the darn thing was still watering. I had to turn it off. Their manual is not very definitive when it comes to setting interval days only. Can any one help me?
