I was hoping that there might be a simple system that just adjusted the percentage irrigation time if the avg. temp. had been really high (or low). Doesn't seem to me that it would have to be a costly feature. But, perhaps I am being unrealistic.
I'll check the threads on this. Not sure what you call these controls, so did not know what to search for.

Search "Irrigation Controller sensors" in the search window here at GardenWeb and google. I am not a pro but use common sense. What is the cost of your water, how many gallons of water would you save a month versus what you would pay extra for a sensored or computerized system. To do what, save your time and not pay attention to your plants. I would hire a gardener if that is the case. Part of the fun is learning what is happening when you nurture your plants and encourage them to grow and produce. No better feeling. Aloha
