pop-up sprinkler heads

Can anyone tell me why my pop-up sprinkler heads turn whenever the sprinklers go on? Every time I water the lawn I have to go out there with a wrench and turn them back toward the lawn otherwise they'd be watering the house, sidewalk, etc. It isn't the entire thing that turns, only the pop-up portion, as if it pivots as it pops up. TIRED OF IT!

How are you using the wrench? Usually you only need a screw driver to adjust the heads... What is the model of your heads (says on top of them)

Have you read the user and troubleshooting manual for that brand?
