subsurface drip, minimum pressure

Hi!

I'd like to install a subsurface drip line to irrigate a patch of turf. I've got a really small lawn (130sq ft) that I would like to see unencumbered; if I could water automatically, then it would be great.

I've taken the pressure at the hose bib - a meager 36psi average, with a flow of about 5gpm. Now, I've still got to add a valve kit and about 14ft of 3/4 pipe until the dripline proper, which will reduce pressure another bit.

Does anyone have experience with underground dripline and low pressure? I won't worry about valve ratings just yet, but even though both Netafim and Rainbird make lines rated for rather low pressures, I wouldn't be surprised if, even within the rating, operation was unreliable.

Regards,
J
