Full StoryHi All,
The landscaper (who was subcontracted by our builder) installed the melnor 3100 Two Zone Timer on our outdoor faucets when they seeded in May. They were supposed to return a few weeks later to retrieve them, but did not. We figured, hey, free timer, hoses and sprinkler. So we left it. We have tried a few times to remove the timers, but they don't turn all the easy.
A couple of weeks ago, I overseeded with KBG and of course the watering is very important for a long time with KBG. Today I noticed that the timer is no longer turning on. I can't even put it on a manual "on" position.
So I have two questions:
1) Is there a place to put a battery on here or something? I don't see anywhere that looks like it would take one.
2) How do you remove these darn things? I've taken a wrench to it and it won't make it past a quarter turn.
Any help is appreciated.
