Rotor sprinklers unearth soil

After having an automatic sprinkler system installed, I seeded for grass. Now, some of the rotor sprinklers have created small craters around them, because they spray the soil away from them with the low ends of their water arcs. Their high ends are aimed correctly. Consequently, the grass will not grow in these eroded areas. Is there a solution to this problem? Should I be using different sprinkler heads (i.e., multi-stream rotors)?
