Routing Controllers Wall Through Exterior Garage Wall

I recently had an irrigation system installed. IN spite of the horrible customer service and business ethics I experienced in dealing with the owner of the company, I must say that the system was designed well and that the parts are decent (Hunter heads/rotars, Rainbird nozzles, Pro-C Controller). The install was done by his workers.

This is more of a cosmetic issue but is it common for pvc pipes containing controller wires to be routed right in front of garage vents?

Hi Boswisc,

If it matches where you wanted the controller in the garage, IMHO, it would be fine. You have a few ascetic issues that I can see. Cover your electrical outlet with a weather type cover, stain your wall footing the same color as your brick house and paint the PVC pipe the color of the brick as well. It doesn't do any harm where it is and would have been more expensive routing it somewhere else from the controller location. Another suggestion is plant a small bush to grow and cover the pipe and paint the pipe camo green. GL & Aloha
