Irrigation FIlter

Hi,

I've been installing drip irrigation over the last few weeks in my garden beds. I've poster another question here about how to time the watering of potted plants on the same valve as bedded plants, but I have another question.

Currently I've got 3 active zones, and each has it's own filter. If I keep at this rate I'll probably have to have another 3 filters (configuration is: PVC, to Filter, to Pressure Regulator, to 1/2 drip pipe each place). I was thinking though, before I go any furher, couldn't I just put a filter off the main valve, rather than one each time I divert to drip pipe? Filter the whole system? Any drawbacks by filtering it at full pressure (around 90PSI)?

Bench,

I don't know of any. Just check with a irrigation supplier with some experience and get the one rated for your flow and pressure. JMHO. Aloha
