I would check if you can manually turn on the zone from the controller. If you can't then a hot or common wire to the controller from the valve has come loose or has been damaged or the solenoid is faulty and needs replacement. If the valve works manually with the controller but still skips the zone, I would replace the controller. You didn't say how old your controller is or where you have located it(inside or outside). They don't last forever unfortunately. Aloha.

I would check the connection.

Consult your controller owner's manual and see if your controller has a self diagnosing raster. Probably a fault in the wiring or a bad solenoid.
