WInterizing sprinkler system

I live in North GA and I would like to know if I need to winterize my system by blowing air out of the lines. I am not sure if winters are harsh enough to be concerned with pipes freezing and bursting. The company that installed the sprinkler system recommends it but that;s to be expected,

Is this a new system under warranty.? Will not doing the winterizing cause the warranty to be voided? How long are your freezes? Aloha

I live in Georgia so freezes don't last more than a day or 2. No it's not under warranty

JMHO, you don't think you have much to worry about. You could do the winterizing the system yourself. Check out the YouTube vids on the subject. aloha
