RE: More winter wonderland

How pretty...but the pics just don't do things justice, do you think? The other day with the ice and sun, the trees sparkled like shiny silver...yes, quite a beautiful wonderland.

I cannot imagine living anywhere that one couldn't enjoy winter with all of its beauty....and fun.

Gorgeous!
Are things thawing out there today? It's 36 degrees here today and things are melting. It's even raining outside.
Fortunately, DH got a roof-rake and got most of the snow off of the roof (the snow gets heavier as the temps rise). So hopefully, no one will get pounded by a ton of snow or an icicle as they walk in or out our front door.
Hope you're doing well, Karen,
Linda

RE: More winter wonderland

Linda: No, when I left work yesterday in late afternoon all the ice on the trees was gone. It was beautiful, and lasted for 5 days. It's warming up, and I'm not going to complain. The snow is melting before my very eyes. It rained about an inch today and that helped a lot. I can actually see grass now in a few areas, and only a thin layer of ice left on the driveway. I can still hear chunks of ice falling off the house or, more likely, the roof.
