| Yesterday, Hubs and I went to the Cradle of Aviation Museum, it's just a few minutes from here, and enjoyed looking at the exhibits--I got a stiffy neck gawking upwards at their replica collection of early kites, and Hubs--as usual--had to be dragged away from the blast-it-off-yourself air powered mini-rocket ;-O.
The highlight of the day was seeing Roving Mars in their IMAX theatre. What a great movie! It's all about the creation of the two rovers and the work involved in getting them to Mars. It's not very technical but it is descriptive and a story of the hard work done by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to make this a reality. |

| Speaking of roving and Mars ... I believe those two rovers powered by solar energy which were supposedly only capable of handling about 65 days worth of Mars dust before the panels would become obscured to the point of not powering the vehicles are yet ticking and ticking and ticking ... and sending pictures back too. |
