Yesterday, Hubs and I went to the Cradle of Aviation Museum, it's just a few minutes from here, and enjoyed looking at the exhibits--I got a stiffy neck gawking upwards at their replica collection of early kites, and Hubs--as usual--had to be dragged away from the blast-it-off-yourself air powered mini-rocket ;-O.
The highlight of the day was seeing Roving Mars in their IMAX theatre. What a great movie! It's all about the creation of the two rovers and the work involved in getting them to Mars. It's not very technical but it is descriptive and a story of the hard work done by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to make this a reality.
