| If your into historical and old old old books then you will love this! My first search was all about family history related topics: books on such subjects as the Mayflower, Colonial era ect., Slavery, Georgia, ect. ect.
Search any subject you want: gardens, herbs, ect., state histories, or whatever! Today I found such stuff as old Longfellow plays about the Salam Witch Trials! All books are fully downloadable out of print and too old to fall under copywright laws...this of course is what makes they downloadable. If you have a slower connection speed it may take some time to download but well worth it. Just open up another browser window to continue surfing while it downloads or take a break and check your containers LOL! Here is the BOOK search URL located at Windows Live. Book search is still a BETA program (test program) but will soon have it's own web URL. If this URL doesn't work you will have to go to: http://search.live.com 1. Type the word Books into the Windows Live search feature (it will give results but ignore them) 2. You will see a few tabs located at the top of the page.... 3. Click on MORE and choose BOOKS (beta) 4. Now search for whatever subject you desire :D BTW you can also just read the books and not download if you don't want too. Have Fun!! Vera |
