I am. I was k-row snare in the 70s. I didn't think I would ever find one of my children on the field. The video I have is a pre-season performance at Ohio State. This is the Upper Arlington High School Team performing the the shoe. My daughter is a clarinet is s row on the right. They were 132 strong with 43 freshman and this was their first performance. To make it worse, the hash marks on college fields is different from high school fields, so they were thrown off, but I think they did great.

Watch the whold thing. The end is the best.

RE: Are YOU a bandie parent?

Of course, if I had a daughter in the band, hubby and I would be calling her our ban(d)shee, so it might be a good thing that we don't have kids, LOL! Some of my best friends were band geeks in school, and they had lots of fun and got to travel all over the country; I was kind of envious. :o)
