With this beautiful weather can we start to plant out our annuals even if they are not hardy. I think we have 15 days of good weather forcasted and that would take up up to Mothers Day. When is the last frost date for Utah county? Anyway I am very new to this area and just wondering if it is safe to get started planting my winter sowing . Thanks in advance.

Hi Mary, Mark Eubanks (the resident weather guy on Channel 5) said tonight that there is a 13% chance of frost between now and Mother's Day. So statistically, we should be in good shape unless we get a really cold snap, in which case we'd all be covering our stuff for a few nights. He said it's okay to plant tomatoes now so I plan to go for it with my winter sown plants!

Thanks you so much for the good info. When you say you are planting out winter sowing does that include your annuals too. Thanks
