COSTCO has this static compost bin for sale at $40. The only online listing I could find was a "Buy It Now" of $56.95 + $25.95 shipping.

I picked one up because it was so cheap. It's pretty sturdy when assembled, and should last a while.

Donn, I don't know about your area but I totally got turned off on putting kitchen waste in the compost bin when I discovered it was becoming a major feeding station for--(gasp!) RATS! Now I compost leaves, grass clippings and chipped/shredded branches but the landfill gets anything that a furry little critter might like. I live in a very nice neighborhood that you wouldn't think would harbor rodents but they will take up residence anywhere there is food and water. They are prolific little beasts so be advised...
