So Excited - Roses Purchased

I know this is very off topic but I wanted to share my excitement. Last week was my birthday. DH asked what I wanted and I seriously thought about a compost bin but thought that would be weird. So I asked for the New Dawn rose. I've been wanting one for so long. Lots of searching local stores - can't find one. Alot of companies are sold out on the net too but then I finally found 1 today! I checked the company out on Watchdog, which was good, so I placed my order. Yeah, it'll ship next week!!!

I also ordered a Cecile Brunner rose which I think I'll put next to 2 Camelia's. I've been trying to build a flowering evergreen privacy hedge in that area and this rose should complete it.

I've no idea where I'll put the New Dawn. I've just been lusting after it for a long time now. Yeah!!!!

Congratulations! 'New Dawn' looks lovely. I don't have that one. I hope it performs well for you. I'm a tad envious - I can't grow camellias up here. Maybe you could grow the 'New Dawn' on a pillar so it blooms above your evergreen hedge. . . .
