Over wintering WS perennials?

katmatney

I have wintersown perennials this year and would like to hold them over for a plant sale next spring. What is the best method of holding them in their pots over the cold upstate NY winters? People bought the first year seedlings great but they like to see the show! Plus I could ask another few dollars for them if they are getting ready to bloom. I was thinking of burying the pots in the ground (but that is alot of work). Is there another method perhaps lining up pots in rows and covering with mulch, etc? Any suggestions from people who have done this before.

Thanks for the advice

Kathy
