| I found a horse manure source that is only about 9 miles from my house. How cool is that! I normally drove 50 miles round trip to haul it from a far suburb.
The manure is mixed with rough saw dust/fine woodchips & straw. Great for mulch. The pile is huge. There won't be any issue of weed seeds; I'll just go around to the back of the pile to get only the aged part. Lindalana, did you know about this stable? I bet you live very close to it. It's at the corner of Golf & Central just off the Eden. :-) |

| Yay! I just found out about manure closer to my house, too. It may be pretty fresh, (I haven't gone yet) but the stuff I picked up this spring wasn't as well-aged as what I'd gotten last year, anyway. I guess I should go get some soon, so I can age it for next year. I kind of need some right now, too! |

| It always tickles me pink when I find a manure source. :-) I am glad my husband decided to keep the van. It's on the brink, but our new car will not be as nice to haul manure as the van. lol |

| Yay! That's always great, Pitam! I have a source within 5 miles of my house. The pile is as big as 2 Greyhound buses parked end to end, and it is AGED to the point of looking as much like bark mulch as it does manure. Love it!!! Lime |
