Shoud this be happening?

I noticed that there are some crocus in the yard, under the cherry tree that are pushing up leaves! I expect this from the Grape Hyacinth in fall, but I didn't plant any in this area....they are all in the back in the Iris bed.
Is this common? This will be their first fall; I planted them last fall in October.

Did they come up last spring?

Yes they did from an October planting. The Grape Hyacintch leaves are grassy and these are stiff like the crocus when they first emerge in spring. Oh weird.
