RE: searching

Donn is still around, not posting very often. Sounds like he is busy and doing well, as are his gardens.

Many of the posters from years ago are posting less frequently. Though I haven't met many of the posters all have become gardening friends and I miss them. It appears to be the nature of the forums, people come and go as their lives and interests change. We wish them well and appreciate when they pop in to update us on their gardens and their lives.

If you do a search on the discussion page you can find some of a person's recent postings.

RE: searching

There was a donn posted a response on the ornamental grass forum on november 6th. Of course, I don't know if this is the person you are looking for or not. I just did a Google advanced search for ~ donn past week.

RE: searching

Donn was a frequent poster in my first year of WSing (2005). He is very intelligent, witty, and so willing to answer questions. He reprimanded folks for getting "off topic" and told them to post on the Conversations side. Finally, he gave up, saying that to get people to stay on topic was "like herding cats." I wish he'd come back.

If you need to reach donn just search through the member listing (LI, NY) and email him.
