Hi. I have well over 300 old fashioned hollyhock seeds. They are one of the few plants I've had great success with from seed.

I would drive by a house in town on my way to the post office and this woman has circled her entire yard with glorious hollyhocks and roses. One day, I saw a lot of stalks had gone to seed and stopped to ask if I could have a few seeds. She was very gracious and I got a LOT. That was about three or four years ago and they've bloomed in my yard since then. They bloom in various colors and this year I saved my own to trade.

There are over 300 seeds per stalk (each individual pod has about 30 seeds) and I saved three stalks (now wishing I'd saved a lot more as I have quite a big patch now) but I can do three trades.

I'd be looking for a big variety, with just a few of each thing. I'd especially like salvia, columbine, lobelia and delphinium or monkshood.

are your hollyhocks doubles? I have salvias and columbine but I'm looking for doulbe flowered hollyhocks. :-) Pam
