Not sure what I would have to trade that you would want considering my unusual request, but we can always talk.

I did look in the Florida Gardening Forum (the most likely place to have these), but it doesn't look like they want you to exchange from outside of Florida?

Linda

Hi Linda! Found this site and copied part of it for you hope it helps.

The arrival of ackee in Jamaica
In Jamaica ackee is one half of the Jamaican national dish, Ackee and Salt-fish. The ackee was brought to Jamaica from West Africa in the late eighteenth century. Ackee was imported to the Islands as a cheep source of food for the slaves brought over from West Africa. The West African slaves were broght to the island to farm the sugar crops in the Caribbean. In most areas of the Caribbean the fruit of the ackee is not eaten. It is only in Jamaica that Ackee is popular as a edible fruit. In recent years the popularity of ackee and salt-fish has increased as visitors to the Island are introduced to this dish and take home a taste for it. > Click here to enter our secure website Fresh ackee is available for sale. the price of our ackee will be 8.99 per pound plus shipping and handling.
