| I'm finally getting around to cleaning out my seed box and getting ready to start winter sowing (yes, I know I am a bit behind, but better late than never, right?)
I have lots of seeds that I would like to give away or trade. If you don't have anything to trade, that is totally fine. Just send me a SASBE with your list of wanted seeds.
Most of these seeds I saved in either 2008 or 2007. For the most seeds there are plenty for everyone, but A few are commercial packets that are partially used...
Alaska shasta daisy
Rose mullien
Licorice mint
breadseed poppy
garlic chives
Blackberry lily
Purple verbena
Rose mallow
veronica (mixed colors)
Catnip
Short blue bellflower (2 pks)
Purple echinacea
Mother wort
wild primrose
bronze fennel
Sweet william
Sweet william (salmon)
"Toto" Rudibeckia
"Russell" lupine
forget-me-not ( 1 pk)
Baby's breath (1 pk)
canary climber (1 pk)
Cardinal climber (1 pk)
sunflower mix (1 pk)
Oriental poppies (pink and orange-a martha steward mix)
Tall larkspur
short larkspur (if I remember correctly, these are both mixed colors)
Red annual poppies
Celosia (red, feathery)
"Baskets of Gold" Alyssum
Tom thumb lettuce
Golden ball turnip (1 pk)
Green grand rapids lettuce (1 pk)
Summertime lettuce (1 pk)
scarlet queen turnip (1 pk)
green goliath broccoli (1 pk)
Munchin broccoli (1 pk)
Purple top white globe turnip
White icicle radish
champion radish
royal red lettuce (1 pk)
Romano pole bean (1 pk from 2004)
I am currently looking for:
Unusual Calendulas
Zinnias (any kind, any color, any height!)
poppies (both annual and perenial) that are different
Any kind of spinach seeds
Lettuce seeds (I am looking for varieties I haven't tried...just ask!)
Productive heirloom tomatoes (or those generic heavy producers such as better boy and beefsteak)
Nicotinia
Any variety of basil (except holy and Thai)
nasturiums
pansies
any type of butterfly weed
Or if you have a a pretty, easy to grow flower (annual or pernenial), ask me if I would be interested.

Hello. If you happen to have any vegetable seeds left I would love to have them. We are planting a "friendship garden" that should service 8 families that cannot have a garden. Thank you. Regards,Misty. |

Misty, Such a nice idea! Can you send me your address? I am in a gardening group in my town, and if anyone has extra seeds, I could collect them and mail them to you. Don't know if it will be too late for you to WS, as not all of the group WS's, so I guess they plant later. Let me know. thanks, ellen |
