Hello. We purchased one "pie" pumpkin and kept it for about two months. Yesterday - fearing that it would be all soft and squishy - rotten- we cut it in half and prepared it for pie. It was not rotten! We found good pumpkin meat after roasting it in the oven for one hour. We had removed the seeds. The shell is hard like a gourd - with no defects. Now I have approxiamtely 100 seeds to trade with someone interested in pumpkin pies. We plan to plant another hundred ourselves this spring. Do you have a good trade? Are you interested? I will give about 15 seeds to each person that is interested. Let me know.
