| Cleaned out the ol' seedbox today to get a fresh start on the trading season. Most seeds are 1 or 2 years old but should still be good. I have enough extras for 4 people who are in need of seeds to WS this coming winter. Packed up and ready to go, a mix of annuals and perennials with one package also containing some veggies (let me know if you want the pack with veggies added. First person to claim gets it).
You will need to send me 87 cents in stamps and your address. First 4 people to post here. Thanks! |

| Uh, I had a question -- you talked about the trading season STARTING soon and I wondered if you could sort of describe it. I have been trading for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Am I jumping the gun? Should I be holding out for the good stuff? Or is it special winter sowing trading? The reason I ask is that I have a bunch of seed harvested that I am trying to clean. It's darn slow going, and it's beginning to feel a little too much like HOUSEWORK! I'm not diggin' it! Thanks, |

| limequilla, People trade seeds all year long but I just get around to it in the fall. Takes me until now to get things organized and some seeds aren't ready until late. I guess this is 'my' trading season as oppposed to 'the' trading season. When I was a newbie I was also a bit overwhelmed with cleaning/collecting every seed I could get my hands on. Now, I try to limit the amount I collect since you don't really need 25 packs of something. Or, leave the chaff with the seed. Just make sure you note that the seed contains chaff on your trade page so a trader is aware that's what they are getting. Still have one more package to be claimed. Any takers? |
