WANTED: Have: Joe-Pye Weed (Eupatorium)

Posted by lblack61 z5 NY (My Page) on

It grows wild in my back yard and I've already started collecting seeds for them, as they seem to have had a shorter season this year due to the cool weather and rain.
If you'd like some, send an email to me. I still have to let them dry and separate them, but I'll keep a list and send them when they are ready :-)

I think it may do well in part shade, particularly if it's in a warmer zone than mine. It grows in areas of my yard that are somewhat wet, in full sun, and blooms very late summer to fall.
If you'd like some, feel free to email me. I just need a SASBE to send :-)

Still have several bags of this and tons of seeds in my backyard I can collect if anyone wants...
The blooms are mauve, the stalks are maroon and it blooms in late summer.
Did a couple of trades so far with some very nice people (of course, ALL of you are nice people! )
