HAVE: Japanesse Maple Seeds

Posted by kent_t 6 (My Page) on

I have freshly picked Japanesse Maple seeds from two trees planted in 1906 so when I say they are hardy they are!!! One is a Green and the other Red. They will be great for Bonsai and rootstock for other Maples or just left alone and grown individualy. The parent trees are breathtaking. They are planted within 50 feet of each other so realy dont know what the trees will turn out to be but I do have them separated and a thousand seeds from each to trade for seeds or plants. I am interested in Bonsai seelings or seeds of various trees. What I have you dont find everyday! My dad arranged a meeting of the owner and well I have the seeds ready for stratification now. I will be trading in 25 seed packs. With instructions on germination.
Thanks, Kent

RE: HAVE: Japanesse Maple Seeds

Hi Kent,
Would you be willing to share your sends in exchange for vegetable seeds or a bubble envelope and postage? My retired neighbor has been growing a red bud and a sugar maple as Bonsai trees. I think he would love to try a Japanese Maple.
If you will share your seeds with me I'll pass them on to my friend.
