HAVE: Adlumia fungosa, Allegheny Vine

Aka Climbing fumitory. It's a native biennial vine with light pink flowers that look like little bleeding hearts. It blooms June, July August of the second year.

This plant is notoriously hard to transplant but I found if you transplant it when it only has a couple of sets of leaves and pamper it for a couple of weeks it does really well. I planted three HOSs which produced a bumper crop of seeds this year. These are ephemeral seeds, so they have to be WS this winter - they won't keep. I have more than I'll ever be able to trade and will happily accept SASBE for these. A few special details for this particular offer:

1. These seeds persist in the dried up flower. They were harvested after the vine died in late August but the pods don't open up and they're a hassle for me to separate so I'm sending them in the pods. I'll send 10 pods and those usually have 5 seeds in each. The seeds are black and shiny.

2. If you could send an empty seed envelope I'd sure appreciate it. If you don't have one, don't worry about it.

3. One offer per envelope, I'd like to share these with as many people as possible.

Postage will be 52 cents. If you send a huge or heavy envelope please send enough postage to cover its return. Post here or email me for my address, patience is appreciated but I'll get back with everyone. Thanks!

Hi Jeanne,
What an interesting plant, and I've never hear of it! I'd love to give it a try.
If you have some seeds left, please send me your address.
Thanks,
Remy

I have plenty still available, so far I've hardly made a dent in my huge bag of seed pods.

Dirt yfingernails, I've tried emailing but it keeps bouncing back. Email me through my trade page if you'd like to set something up. Thanks!

Jeanne

Me, too, Jeanne? We have a lovely shady glen that could use a lot of these! I've wanted some forever...

Hi if you have any left, I would like some. Tried to grow before but guess the purchased seeds were too old.

Thanks for your time!
