Sowing weather!

This is what Grandmother sent us today!

This is the start of my WSing. Black covered container is delphinium Pac Giants & Fantasia. Long, narrow planter is mix of lettuces, spinach & scallions. The small trellised container is peas & more greens (can't remember what now so it'll be a tasty surprise!

Hope to set out 5 more tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of this great new thing!

And thank you to all of you who made offers of seeds & been so welcoming. It's refreshing to be reminded how much good is still out there.

Happy Sowing!

RE: Sowing weather!

Where is your zone 5? Your weather looks like you could be on my block. I always wonder if any of my wintersowing friends live close by. I'd love to get to meet everyone. I'm in Grand Rapids, MI, and I've been wintersowing for 8-10 years. I'm now in my third house and I have less sunshine with each move. So, my style has had to change. I'm completely out of the vegetables now, but I used to do heirloom melons. Welcome to the forum. We all look forward to getting to know you better.

Martha
