Squirrel in the 'Squirrel-Proof' Birdfeeder :)

This was so cute I had to take a picture of it :) I had been noticing the lid to my birdfeeder would mysteriously pop off. I was sure the wind must have been catching it somehow. I don't know why it never occurred to me it was a squirrel! One Saturday morning this winter I caught this sight from my kitchen window...I snatched my camera and went to take the picture!

Vera, I know, isn't it hilarious?!! I wish I had thought to have the camera up and ready when I told him he had to leave. He managed to flip around in there and come up head first. He peered over the edge at me before he skedaddled. It would have made a priceless picture.

He's in there so tight - how did he manage to flip around? Would have loved to see that ....

That is too funny. Squirrels are ingenious buggers. Also mostly fur it seems.
