Great photos, especially like the rain ones. Is the fourth photo campanula (bell flower) and Jacob's Ladder (polemonium), not coral bells (heuchera)?
    Thanks for sharing.

Very pretty. I have not had success with Borage. Maybe I'll try again this winter.

    I want that Ligularia! :-)

    I love them all!!
Are you sure that is a dwarf Hollyhock and not a Malva? I'm thinking Malva for sure.
Congrats on the Ligularia and M. sargentii. BTW this is a Crabapple not a Cherry :))
My Venidium should be in bloom any day now too, but since planting out I have been pinching off the buds for about a month in order to get ahead in the rooting department The seedlings were trying to bloom before I planted them out because I left them to sit in their over-crowded container for too long lol.

    MNWSgal,
Oops...yes, that's supposed to be Cantebury Bells in the fourth pic.

    Vera,
Yeah, I thought it was strange that the Dwarf HH looks like Malva Zebrina. But I'm pretty sure the packet said Dwarf HH. I may dig it out to make sure.

Thanks for the correction on the Malus. I did try three times though (so that still sticks :-). I'm so busy lately and my heads spinning-- but I wanted to get pics posted.

My Venidium is blooming earlier than it usually does. I don't know why. It's usually late in my yard. I guess it likes where I put it this year.

    Proud,
I think it's called "Sunrise" or something like that, but I could be very wrong (of course, my memory fails me. I'm having memory overload). I can always collect seeds for you if you like...then it won't matter what they're called...lol.

    Pit and Karen
Thanks on the Borage. I'm still amazed that it reseeded with a vengeance. I grew it partly because I thought it was the leaves you could use for tea, but it's the flowers that are used for tea. A little too labor intensive for me...and plus, the bees are loving it (so I don't want to take any away from them).

WOW Linda, what pretty pictures! I love the white canterbury bells! Someday when I get my white garden going I may give you a holler for seeds, I only have the blue/purple ones. I love how the borage and dames rocket go together, can borage stand full sun?

    Brandy,
The funny thing is, I thought I WSed a pack that would give me blue, pink, and white. But I'm pleased that they are actually all white-- that area needed that color.

    Pit,
If that Ligularia blooms this year, I'll be sure to send you seeds :-)

    Thanks Carrie :-)
(although my labeling was a little frantic...lol)

...I forgot to mention that yep, the Borage is in full sun and it loves it. It's in southern exposure and it gets sun all day.
And, yes, I'd be happy to send you seeds from the Canterbury bells :-)

I'll let everyone know when seeds for them and Ligularia (if it flowers) are ready.

Hi Linda: Lots of nice pics. Is your Ligularia dentata? I love that plant and still have my container from this year's winter sowing and wonder if I should keep it going. It shows no sign of life so far. Also, be very careful with Dame's Rocket. If it is, the flowers will have four petals, not five, and it is a rogue - spreads by underground runners which can be as thick as your thumb. Be sure to trim all stems after the flowers set seeds and that will help you control them.
    Northerner.

Early Sunrise is the coreopsis. I have it here too. I love the dwarf HH. I wish I could grow those without so much rust.
