| I would have never thought I could grow dahlias from seed :))
these are "Bishop's Children" and they are now starting to bloom- just beautiful! thanks to Hanne in Denmark for the seeds-

| Linda, Isn't the foliage gorgeous? I was surprised how easy the seeds germinated. So far, mine comes in orange and red. I like the dark red better. |

| I too was amazed that I could grow Dahlias from seed. I didn't dream that the plants would reach this size and actually bloom the first year! I also have 3 pots from a mix of seed I'd received; those have a brighter green foliage and the blooms are all shapes, sizes and colors, even bicolors! I just love them! |

| Very nice...please post more pics as they bloom. I ws some Dahlia this year too. I am going to try and save some of my favorites for next year too. |
