I now realize that when I lost my hard drive, among important things I lost, -
that seed site - which has images.

If someone can link me to that, I'd appreciate it and/or a picture of the gaillardia seed.

I see the little thing that transports it in the wind - is the seed inside of that?

thanks,
ellen

Here's a link to the seed site. I use it all the time.

Here is a link that might be useful: The Seed Site

Thanks!

That is the site I used to have.

But it doesn't seem to have Gaillardia, I checked also under Blanket Flower.
also didn't see tithonia (Mexican sunflower) unless I am missing something.
I have the same question as above about tithonia.

thanks,
ellen

Another good site for seed identification is: Front Range Seed Analysts (FRSA)

Gaillardia seed here: Gaillardia

Don't see one for tithonia ....

Thank you PV
that's what mine look like -
So I suppose I plant the whole thing?

Funny, I grew these last year but I forget - a memory is a terrible thing to lose! :)

well I imagine that in nature they just fall and germinate so I should stop worrying.
