Managed to wait a week before checking my containers again

and I have even more sprouts. So far, I have white yarrow that sprouted on the 19th and today I had sprouts in both the hollyhocks I sowed (I love the black ones), red dwarf coreopsis, sunset hyssop and the red yarrow. I have my containers on a covered porch that faces east and pushed them closer towards the house so they only get the very early morning sun. Even in January the New Mexico sun would cook them in the containers. It's still exciting to see the new plants sprouting.

I love what you've got starting, especially the black hollyhocks. Your garden will be gorgeous.

You have better self control than I. When my containers start to sprout I check them every day and sometimes multiple times each day. Can't walk pass them without checking.
