Daffodils are sprouting

My daffodils are poking through the mulch and coming up. They are about 2 months too early. I don't see sprouts in my WS containers yet, though. I'm going to move mine to the most shady part of the yard. It's 54F out right now! That's spring temperatures for sure.

Mine are up too but I am in zone 7 and although it's unlikely, it is possible that we may not see any real cold for the remaining part of the winter. Lows have been in the 20's and 30's with nice sunny days. I pushed my winter sowed containers close to my house on the porch so they only get very early sun - even in Jan the New Mexico sun would fry those little guys in a closed container.

I'm seeing lots of weeds :(
Gonna have to hire a neighborhood kid to help me get the front bed ready for new plants this spring. It's been a very mild winter so far, it's very odd. Maybe Spring will be early and that would be a very good thing.
