I went to Walmart today, they had Burpee seeds on display and the "Seeds of Change" brand. I got a couple of the new marigolds and 'Scarlett O'hara' MG's. Things are changing seeds don't get displayed until spring around here.

I've seen seeds out at three local supermarket chains and at Ocean State Job Lots. We usually have them out this early.

And yes, I bought some! I try not to look, but just can't help myself. :)

I snagged 7 packs from walmart today but there was a pretty skimpy assortment- darn! Only had 1 type of petunia and 1 zinnia. Our home depot has a huge variety so will hit that tmrw. I'm out of potting soil and can't get more for 2 weeks - blasted budget! - but getting seeds makes me feel like i'm doing SOMETHING productive. Lol

I had bought a few packs at Ocean State Job Lot right before Christmas. Now I have to wait until the budget allows before I get more.

K-Mart has their Burpee seed racks out too and 40% off sign on end of display. I practiced restaint..only bought 2 pkt. Rosy Alyssum. Had them last year and they did so well and I loved them. Might have to look for some of the deep purple ones.
